Former British Armed Forces, Combat Diver, before moving over into the Offshore diving industry. Concurrently, Alan has owned Silvercrest Submarines Ltd for the last 40 years, during which time he has owned & operated more than 10 submarines, of various types in various roles, including military.

Nationality: Finnish

Ari has been working in the submarine building industry since the late 1980s, as a Design & Manufacturing Engineer. He is also a qualified & experienced Submarine Pilot / Instructor.

Ian Crowder
Nationality: British

Submarine Pilot & Technician (2009 – Present) Installation, maintenance and repair of submarine equipment including hydraulic, electronic and pneumatic systems. Ian has been instrumental in complete vessel rebuilds. (2 x SM26) Sweden 2009-2017. Pilot/Crew training and development.

Matthew is ex British military, having served in the Royal Signals in Bosnia, Northern Ireland alonfside British Special Forces & in Germany & UK. After the army, he took employment as an ROV Pilot/ Engineer, in Oil & Gas & Subsea Telecomms.

ME6 (RET) Colonel Andrew Teo
Nationality: Singapore

Andrew retired from the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) after 39 years’ service. As the Doyen and Head of ECS Centre, he was actively involved in all major RSN acquisition programmes, such as: Specialised Marine Craft (SMC), Swimmer Delivery Vehicle (SDV), Mine Hunting Sonar, Towed Synthetic Aperture Sonar, Light Weight Torpedoes, Mine Disposal Systems, Expendable Mine Disposal Systems, Underwater Influence Mines, Acoustic and Magnetic, Surveillance USV and Mine Counter Measure USV.
